Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Proper Lean LLC dba Twobin (“TwoBin,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you visit two-bin.com or use the TwoBin app at app.two-bin.com (together, the “Service”). Contact: support@two-bin.com.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, work email, company name, and the role you have in your company's account. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in hashed form; we never see them.
- Your shop data — what you and your team put into TwoBin: parts, vendors, prices, locations, purchase requests and orders, receiving records, work orders and notes.
- Files you upload — part photos, company logos, drawings and other attachments.
- Billing information — your plan and billing history. Card details are entered directly with Stripe, our payment processor; TwoBin never receives or stores your full card number.
- Usage and device information — pages viewed, clicks, browser and device type, and error reports, used to improve the Service and fix problems. Our analytics is set up to mask the text on screen and anything typed into forms, and identifies you only by an internal account ID — not your name or email.
- Messages you send us — support emails and in-app support tickets.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Service: run your account, store and show your data, print your cards and labels, and send sign-in, invite and password-reset emails.
- To bill for paid plans and prevent fraud.
- To support you, and to tell you about important changes to the Service or these policies.
- To keep the Service secure and reliable, and to understand how it is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or use your shop data to advertise to you or anyone else.
3. Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run TwoBin. They process data only on our behalf and under their own security commitments:

The parts catalog may show “buy” links to retailers such as Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, TwoBin earns from qualifying purchases; clicking such a link takes you to the retailer, whose own privacy policy applies. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or merger of our business (with notice to you).
4. Your company's data stays your company's
Each company's data in TwoBin is kept separate from every other company's. Your company's admins decide who on your team has access. Our staff access an account only to provide support you ask for, to keep the Service running, or when legally required, and such access is logged.
5. Security
All connections use encryption in transit (HTTPS), data is encrypted at rest, and access is enforced at the database level so one company can never see another's data. We review our security regularly and run automated checks every night. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is open. If you close your account and ask us to delete it, we delete your data from the live Service within 30 days; it then ages out of our backups shortly after. We may keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can view and update your account information in the app at any time.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@two-bin.com. We respond within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we will honor them.
8. Cookies and local storage
The app uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember display preferences on your device. Our analytics uses cookies or similar storage to understand usage; it does not track you across other websites, and we do not use advertising cookies.
9. Children
TwoBin is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify account admins by email before the changes take effect.
